About Dr. Garrard
Dr. Stacy Garrard joined the team in July 2023 and she is excited to be a part of the KATS team! She graduated in 2019 with High Honors from the University of Iowa with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She furthered her professional education by obtaining her Doctorate of Audiology degree from University of Louisville in 2023. Part of obtaining her doctorate degree included a one-year residency – which she completed on the opposite side of the United States in Anchorage Alaska! Although she loved the experience, she realized very quickly the cold weather was not for her and ultimately decided to return to Kentucky.
Dr. Garrard gained experience in a wide variety of clinical settings throughout her graduate program but knew the private practice audiology setting was meant for her. She loves getting to know her patients personally and become part of their hearing healthcare journey. Stacy holds Board Certification in Audiology through the American Board of Audiology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Dr. Garrard is also certified by the Tinnitus Retraining Therapy Association.
