Kentucky Audiology and Tinnitus Services, PLLC (KATS) was created for the purpose of providing relief to persons who experience tinnitus, sound sensitivity issues and hearing loss. We offer a full range of services to meet the needs of persons who experience tinnitus and all sound sensitivity issues.

For years, tinnitus was thought to be untreatable.  People were told to just “live with it.” However, advances in recent decades have shown this to be untrue! KATS uses Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) to give you lasting relief from tinnitus symptoms. Research has demonstrated TRT to be 80% effective for habituation of reaction and perception of tinnitus. KATS is owned and operated by Dr. Ann L. Rhoten (Annie), Doctor of Audiology, a native of Lexington. Dr. Rhoten is interested in helping you end the isolation caused by hearing loss, tinnitus or sound sensitivity issues. She also offers a range of hearing aids for those with hearing loss.
